Default PT 9.0.1 Windows Full Installer Bug?

New system build coincided with the release of 9.0.1 so I figured I'd download the 9.0.1 full installer for my HD3 system. However, when installing the Creative collection, the installer writes all of the plugins to the DAE/Plugins folder... but when the installer prompts you to restart, they all disappear. I tried several times with the same result. The 9.0 Full installer works as expected. Anyone else?

Is this problem relating to just the Creative Collection plug-ins? Where are the plug-ins that were written to the plug-ins folder gone?

So it seems... just the creative collection. I even tried to repair the installation. Then I uninstalled and re-installed completely. While doing so, I had the DAE/Plugins folder opened and watched as the installer wrote all of the Creative Collection plugins into the folder. Then, I restarted and they were all gone again... only the Digirack plugins remained. They weren't in the recycle bin either. After this, I just gave up and installed 9.0 full installer, and then the 9.0.1 updater and all is well.

Tell me, what elements of the Pro Tools 9.0.1 Installer did you have checked. Was any of the related Creative Collection check boxes checked?

Did you get this sorted out? Seems strange that the PTCC plug-ins disappeared after the reboot with the 9.0.1 full install. Did you have enough disk space?
I tried installing the 9.0.1 full installation on Windows 64 bit and didn't encounter the same problem.

Turns out it was a bad ram stick in the new build. Later on I noticed other issues with copying files from one drive to another (they too would simply vanish). Replaced the stick and the 9.0.1 full installer worked as expected. Apologies for any alarm.
