cant find digidesign hardware
Hello. I have today installed PT8 on my intel mac pro os10.5.8, but when I try to open it I just get the message, "Can`t find digidesignhardware", and it wont open. Problem is I have connected my Mbox2pro to the firewire400 port. So now what do I do? Any ideas anyone?

Try another firewire cable? Did you install according to the exact instructions in the Getting Started Guide? Not sure regarding Mac's but I know Windows users must follow a certain method(which is NOT the same as most Windows software) or PT doesn't work.
