PT Freezes

Please help I'm running PT 5.3.2 on a G$ 733 OS9.2. For the past three of four days I've been getting numerious freezes while playing back as well as recording. I'm not getting any error messages just full locking freezes. I used to use DP 3 and had to trash the preferences when I would get these multiple crashes. What gives?????
