Default Upgrade from PT 11 tp PT 12?

I've tried contacting Avid support for info on upgrading and everytime all I get is a generic reply to phone their 1-888-456-3444 and the email support Case is Closed. TWICE.

Anyone in the know care to let me know how much Avid wants to upgrade from PT 11 to PT 12?

I purchased PT 11 and installed it on Dec 4th 2014 Support ends tomorrow March 31 2015.

You're mistaken. Your support plan ends March of 2016, not this year. You get PT12 and all upgrades free until then.

You contacted the webstore and they referred you to CS to discuss this. You included in your notes "Time Period: Dec 05, 2014 - to - Mar 31, 2016" and that's correct - you're still covered for another 12 months.

As far as upgrading, your Upgrade and Support Plan provides the v12 upgrade which should be in your account soon. CS is still processing Upgrades.

That sounds great in a wishful thinking world but I'm pretty sure I didn't buy any support plan, my 4 months support that came with buying PT 11 ends today not March 31 2016.
That would be awesome if Avid offered 14 months of upgrades from initial purchase.

I'm not aware of any 4 month support plan.

If you bought Protools on its own in December (full version), there was no support plan included, and I believe you would have just gotten one ASC support code to use within 30 days (or maybe 90 days, which still doesn't coincide with March 31st).

If you upgraded from a previous version (which sounds like what you did), then you got a full year of free support and upgrades, plus the special bonus extra extension to March of 2016, which is what everyone got who upgraded since last October through the end of December.
