PT Native HD10.3.2 Forgets Playback Engine
(system details on sig)
When I open a session, the Playback Engine always resets H/W Buffer to 256. Also, PT often "forgets" the HD Native is installed and reverts to Aggregate I/O, requiring a reboot (or 2) to become available again. I've repaired permission, trashed prefs, etc. with Avid's Utility app, all to no avail. Frustrating.

Re: PT Native HD10.3.2 Forgets Playback Engine
Are you monitoring through it with core audio?
If so you have to close whatever app is holding open the avid core audio manager before launching PT. The CA drivers are not multi-client so it's an either or with PT or core audio. |

Always and only PT.
