Default Component Video out options. Canopus ADVC 300?

I am upgrading to Pro Tools HD2 and I am looking for video output options. I´ve used Canopus ADVC 100, but it looks poor when projected. My experience is that small projectors (like the one I use at my stage) work a lot better with component video signals than composite (such as Canopus ADVC 100).
So, the main question: Anyone know of any (cheap) option for this application? Anyone tried Canopus ADVC 300 in a Pro Tools enviroment? I would personally preffer to leave PCI bus solely for Pro Tools (I´ve read bad comments on adding another PCI video card to the computer when using too many tracks and processes).
My setup: G5 dual 1.8 GHz, 3 Gb RAM, standard PCI slots.
Thanks in advance for your response.

TK.

An Avid Mojo or Mojo SDI will do it.

Thanks Jon. But that would would cost around U$S 1,700 and the Canopus ADVC 300 is about just U$S 450. I don´t need a complete video editing solution, just output composite video from a firewire port (if possible).
Thanks anyway for your response.

Jon's suggestion of a MOJO should not be brushed away so lightly. Yes, it costs more but you will get solid, professional, and predictable performance. Also, it looks as good as the SD video codec will allow when you project from it. I project component every day.

I just worked on a job that was mixed at another facility, where they recently installed an Intel Mac and are currently unable to use their new MOJO. They had been using a PT AVXL system, which has perfect sync just like MOJO will. Until Digi releases software to enable their new MOJO on their new Intel Mac, they temporarily are using a Canopus. Needless to say they are VERY unhappy with the video synchronization of their new system! The mixer discovered that lip sync was inconsistent, no matter how they adjusted the movie offset. At first they thought my prep work was bad, until it was proved to them what the problem really was.

We discovered inconsisent movie synchronization performance with cheaper firewire video solutions several years ago, and it looks to me like things have not improved very much since then. I really, strongly recommend MOJO over any firewire video box.
