So I am hoping that with the release of PT HD systems, perhaps the other models will be cheaper now. I would like to know your recommedations on a older system to buy. I don't need surround and surely 48khz @24 would be fine.
What systems can I get along with the I/O interface. I got a G3 Mac with a Cresc g/4 500 cpu in it. Probably 16 inputs is fine. love to hear your thoughts. thanks |

get a mix farm + d24 or a mix core. if you need more DSP, add cheap DSP farms, which you can find for very good prices at e-bay..
If you have a digital mixer with light pipe output, an adat bridge 24 will allow you 16 i/o.
