the hole new metering feature is one for sure,

Actually .. I wonder with the CPTK gone .... how would users with non HD interfaces have access to Pro Tools HD ?? ... I believe we should stop this nonsense and make Pro Tools HD 11 an upgrade from Pro Tools 11 for a specific price for all the clients ...just like Ableton Live and Ableton Live Suite

At this point I think only Avid knows this. We need more info.

I think they were quite clear in the video conference,
NO protools 11HD for non Avid HDX or non HD native users from now on,
with an excemption only to the owners of CPTK,
which they have the ''opportunity/chance'', to upgrade HD11 with 999 USD,
Sorry cant recall the exact word used, it was 5 am here in Greece

Best

Not the upgrade, but the feature difference between HD and standard version.

yeah thats exactly what i wanted to know in the first place..
a feature comparison between pt11 and pt11 HD,

For starters i have counted 2 features that are surely only HD,(avid confirmed)
The new advanced metering + gain reduction meter
(except to the fact that the meters are 30% bigger in height, thats universal)
and disk caching will be a HD only feature as well,
what else any input??

The implemented Satellite Link and Video Satellite LE are HD only.

I saw a kind of comparison chart on twitter, though I cannot find it now, but here's what I remember.

Exclusive PT11HD features:
new video engine
disk cache
surround mixing
track punch/destructive punch/rec
advanced automation (punch capture, preview, etc.)
VCA

Some seems obvious (VCA for example) but we really need some official word on this.
