Well at least we know why. So from what I’ve read in other discussions, the workaround is to press the CONTROL Softkey and SEL Softkey of the channel you want? That’s what I’ve been using and it works but, one button is a lot easier than two.

Is there any news on the keyboard and mouse, directly attached via the S3 USB to the Avid S3 in studio mode. On Pro Tools. Is that fix available?

If not would a RJ45 male to USB female adapter work for plugging in a keyboard into Ethernet Port B?

Sorry, I'm not sure what you are asking or why, also the RJ45 connectors are Ethernet.

Hi Eddie, I own an avid mix and one avid control and I'm interesting in dock but I've some questions...I use Cubase (now 8.5 and 9.5 soon), are the Dock and the PT control app usable under Cubase or doesn't worknig? Are there some videos or info for my daw (Cubase) with dock ?

No, you have to go direct.

Yes the Dock is EUCON so works with Cubase just as well as the Artist Control but with better GUI and controls. It will work nicely with you Mix too.

Now if I could get my edit/mix window to bank with the Control surface without pressing control, I’d be a happy camper.

This is my BIGGEST wish for the Dock. My workaround is I've set the upper left soft key(to the right of the divider line) to be the Control modifier key so I can select tracks while holding this key with one hand and the edit window will follow on screen.
