plug ins and fader windows randomly collapse PT 2020.12 & S!'s

Hi guys.running a brand new Mac Pro 7.1 with all current PT [2020.12] HDX eucontrol [2020.11.1]and 2 new S1's,one of which I replaced because of these problems..
plug ins constantly collapse when opened.super annoying
fader windows constantly pop up unprompted and won't collapse when I try.
the work around for plug ins is hit shift at launch..its a mess and making my work impossible
any ideas?
everything is 4 months old.. basically brand new

The EuCon Settings windows have a lot of features and preference settings. You can control the way the surface changes your GUI and vice-versa. Check out the menu named "Open Windows on Workstation When Editing:"

We have added a lot more control and flexibility to accommodate different workflows over the past couple of years. Unfortunately, it makes initial setup more complicated. Take a look at the General Settings help on page 94 on, for help in setting this all up. If you still have questions don't hesitate to post them here.

ok so is there a specific place in the guide that addresses my plug ins constantly collapsing?
I'm not adjusting plug ins on the S1's.this is an issue with my plug in windows randomly collapsing and random aux fades main fader windows ping up all the time..those won't collapse when I try to.they keep popping back up...all on my main computer screen.
the only fix is hitting shift when opening them or completely unplugging the S1's.which is a basic workflow nightmare when working fast.
I'll keep looking and experimenting but this is getting painful .in the middle of a job.

So just fwiw; occasionally on my rig; I'll have a plugin open, I'll then click on a track in the edit window and the plugin window will close. All Eucon prefs are set to *not* open or close anything on selecting tracks. It happens intermittently (like 4 or 5 times a day) so, often enough to be an annoyance, but not often enough to be able to track it down. This is new behavior since going Eucon.
