FW800 Expresscard adaptor OK?
Got a new Mbox 3 Pro and it needs to be first in the firewire chain. I'd like to hook up my audio drive and backup drive to FW800 on my Macbook Pro. Avid Support says they have only qualified FW400 Expresscards and that is all they can recommend.
Is anyone using a FW800 Expresscard successfully with PT on a Macbook Pro? Thanks, Steve |

Re: FW800 Expresscard adaptor OK?
Yes, mine works fine.
That is a good option since it gives you two separate Firewire buses.
