Another MPC question
I've figured out how to control the MPC with beat clock and I've figured out how to sequence one track at a time into Pro Tools. What I haven't figured out is how to send each track on the MPC to a separate Midi Channel in Pro Tools.
Ex: Track 1= Midi Ch1, Track 2=Midi Ch2 When I do a sequence on separate tracks in the MPC and then send it to PT via Midi, all information from all tracks is transmitted on all Midi channels. No separation, therefore no way to mix it in Pro Tools. Also is it possible to have each pad correspond to a Midi channel? Ex: Pad 1= Midi Ch1, Track 2=Midi Ch2 I know a ton of you must use this machine (MPC100) and by reading the manual I see there is a limitless amount of things I can do with it. Just need a push. Help a brotha out!

Re: Another MPC question
Why not just save a midifile from the MPC and open it in PT?
