Does this apply to 6.4 as well, or is there a separate qualification for this?

I'm running 6.4cs9.

I've been running 6.4 with my Mbox on 10.3.7 since it came out without any problems.

Can anyone think of a reason it was not tested on 10.3.7? Especially as Digi is unable to supply the 6.7 upgrade at this time. Does Digi not get seeded with all the developers updates to OSX weeks before it comes out?

Oh Come On Digi!

Why is it that after so much testing on the Protools versions (6.4...etc), are there so many "cs" updates and things still don't work right? Now you can't seem to keep up with the OS updates either. 6.7...what?

Get 6.4 right for starters so 001 users arn't stuck with a broken DAW. I'm still in 10.3.3 and 6.4 'cause it's the most stable so far but I'd like to update sometime and not mess around for days DOWNGRADING again.

Always a dollar short and a day late???

All ya'll need to listen up...... 6.7 will only work with 002/M-box and TDM stuff, and in my opinion the 002 has not "PASSED" the safety test! The 001 passed with a favorable rating.

I'm not going to trust my company to the 002. There is no time for "Downtime" caused by a still faulty wireing harness. Everyday there are numerous posts of peoples 002 dying and having to go through the power harness replacement thing. Some people have had to endure that 3 times???? For a product that has a few years behind it, it seems quality control went out the window!

So if you are saying that I need to get with the picture by buying into this "downgrade" at $1000 to replace an interface (001) that has years of reliable milage on it, I don't buy that!

Even if Digidesign came out with a 003 tomorrow, I'd have a hard time investing in one untill "ALL" the bugs were worked out. That might mean a few generations, by that time the 004 would be out and support for the 003 would be discontinued.

Am I chasing my tail yet?

So back to the original post........YIPPIE! I'm happy to hear about that but I'd like to get a few more years out of what I own and I'd like to see some real QUALITY CONTROL implemented at Digi so that I can feel confident that my studio won't be down 'cause of their hardware if I chose to upgrade!

This has all been said before, I'm sure.

Oh and what about "TRUE MULTI-prosessor" support? I'd take that over Surround (never gonna happen) and Beat-DetectiveLE any day.

Test, test, test away DIGI.

are there any known problems with mbox on 10.3.7? all my apps keep crashing randomly. i've just unplugged the mbox and haven't had a crash yet (it's only been 30 minutes), but safari crashed 4 times in 5 minutes prior to my unplugging it. i'm not even running pro tools. at random times any and all of my apps have been crashing.

fyi, i'm running a BRAND NEW dual 1.8 g5 w/1.25 gigs of ram. this thing should be running circles around anything i've had to date. it's not...yet.
