Default SDII mix playback from desktop

Is there a simple player for mac that will playback mixes that have been bounced down to stereo interleaved files?
e.g. Winamp for PC.
I don't want to launch Protools everytime I want to hear back a mix.

QuickTime player.

If the SD11 file is from PT-5.1 it will be pointed to PT, the older PT's didn't do this and I think Digi should go back to the old way so....
...you have to open QT then open the SD11 file.

ResEdit may be able to fix the pointing.

There is a control panel, I think its called File Exchange on english/am. systems.

This is were you tell your mac wich app opens wich file type.

Playsound is freeware (I believe) that will play directly from the desktop-it adds a
"play sound" menu item when you control-click-hold on a soundfile's icon.
Also Soundhack, Peak, SoundApp, & I think Quicktime Player will all play interleaved SD2 files.

playsound is the most elegant solution for this. It becomes part of the contextual menu. works great. I foget where to get it, but do a sherlock for it.

InstantPlayer

Launch it. Select the file you want to hear directly on the desktop. Hit "option" on your keyboard. Listen to the file.
