10.3.4 Installation problem
I've made a "clean" uninstallation of 10.2, didn't remove pref files manually, though.
Then I installed HD_Driver_v90_r3_73493 and restarted. When I try to install 10_3_4_Installer_78970 it seems to get stuck early at "Preparing Pro Tools 10.3.4..." The log says: "Using authorization level of root forIFPKInstallElement" Have anybody seen this?

So, after about 50 minutes, the installer started "Validating packages..."
Does this have something to do with the Disk Image being located on an external drive?

Hi,
Yeh try copying to the system drive to run the installer. sounds like its strugling to run the installer package. If problem continues then download the installer again incase corruption. Chris

There's been no activity in the log for the last 25 minutes. I'm gonna try your suggestion.

It went really smooth from the OS drive.
