Default \"Session File Created in a Newer Version of ProTools\"?

Hey Everyone,

I'm having sort of a crazy problem. My suspect is that an entire folder got corrupted. I have one session directory that all the pro tools session files in it, when I try to open them give me the above error. "Session file created in a Newer Version of ProTools" I know thats definately not the case as they were last saved on the same machine I'm trying to open them from. Is there anything you can do when PT starts acting like this? Yes.. Even the "session file backups" behave this way.....

thanks,
Jon

Which model Mac are you on? Which OS version and Pro Tools version? Have you possibly changed your computers primary language setting recently? Have you tried trashing preference and database files?

I'm on a Mac Pro with 7.3.1 cs4. Haven't changed anything really. So trashing prefs could fix this?

Trashing prefs fixes lots of things, including but not limited to insomnia, anger management issues, and male pattern baldness.
