mix 24 & mbox mini together?

Answer is probably no but can you run pro tools 8 (mbox mini) with pro tools 6.4 TDM mix at the same time?

I'm really happy with my TDM system but PT 8 is more geared for midi/composing with it's built in synth plugins etc. Don't really want another computer in the same room. Any work arounds?

This is what I want too. But I'm using an old mac with panther, because for mix you can only use 6.4 with panther. If you want to use 8, you have to use Leopard. If your mac is fast enough you could use a dual boot OS. But my mac is ancient, and therefore won't handle leopard. So I want to use XP on a PC because both 6.4 and 8 work on xp. But I can't find a copy of 6.4 for windows. I'm assuming this would work under xp.

You can't have LE & HD installed together on the same OS...

You can however, have a duel boot machine with HD on one operating system & LE on the operating system on the other partition....
