It's pot luck really...

Dverb is now free & is well maintained for example & had been recently updated..

TL Drum Rehab (owned by Digi now...) is broken beyond all comprehension on windows and has been for well over a year (nearly two!) and they are still selling that at full price..

Beat me to it! Dverb is a good example of a well maintained plug, The DiFi bundle is another. The TL click plugs timing was broke for a long time but seems fixed in 8.0 now that its free. Maybe you will have to wait till PT 9.0 to see TL Rehab fixed.

Spaids
IMO I would expect a bug in an included plug to be fixed eventually just like any other part of the software. It's part of the package. And considering the Sansamp plug was recently redesigned (at least visually) for PT8, it seems it's not being abandoned.
Also, I purchased Sansamp before it was free, so there's that.

I paid for this one too,(SansAmp) and as much as I liked it, the minor bugs have pushed me to other plugs.

I had to update my Pace drivers for the plugs to work. It seems that a Pace update is standard procedure whenever installing new plugs.
