How to open MP3 files using Pro Tools from desktop
My apologies if this is a stupid question but am new to iMac and new to Pro Tools 2018.
I have been sent some new reels now on my desktop as MP3 files. When right-clicking 'open with', then 'other', Pro Tools is grayed out and not functioning as an application with which to open them. Could you please advise how I open my MP3 files using Pro Tools as I want to adjust their quality. Thanks for any advice and apologies again if this question is too novice for this advanced forum.

Launch Pro Tools > create a project > import the mp3 files. PT will convert to your format of choice when creating the session.
