Can't open midi editor??
I'm probably doing something dumb but..where'd my midi editor window go?? lol.
First time using PT2018 since upgrading from 12.8. I went to click the little arrow on the bottom of the mix window to bring up the half screen midi editor and it's not there..ok maybe I'm remembering it wrong. Hit CNTRL = and nothing. If I go into Window menu all the midi and score stuff is greyed out. Is this a bug or am I missing something? I thought 2018 was supposed to update the midi functionality, not remove it entirely! Haha. Please help!

Re: Can't open midi editor??
Attached a screen shot. Notice there's no arrow at the bottom to bring up the midi editor from the edit window, and I can't use the keyboard shortcut either, it's just greyed out. Am I just missing a setting somewhere? Never had this happen before..

Re: Can't open midi editor??
Have you played any MIDI parts on this track? It's small and it's hard to see from you picture.
When I want to bring up the MIDI editor, I double click on the bottom half of the instrument track where I have already laid down a MIDI clip.

Re: Can't open midi editor??
D'oh! I'm an idiot. There's no midi tracks in the session so no midi editor window. I assumed the midi edit window was kinda like the mix window where you can still pull it up without there being any tracks. That wouldn't make much sense though. I was trying to create a trackball shortcut, not actually program midi. Thanks for helping me figure it out!
