Your utilities are extremly helpful. Thanks very much! I will be sure to push the PPD button soon.

I would love a util that was smart enough to copy a complete installed versions of ProTools to a holding place on the drive so I could have multiple versions and cs updates installed, and then copy the version I wish to work with back to the right place, all with a push of a button. That way users could still have their disk authorzations in place for Virtuatl instruments and go between versions when having problems, or needing to bring a fresh install back. . . Thoughts?

As soon as I can figure out how to tell Xcode to compile for 10.3.x
I tried, but could not figure it out. I will try again soon.

To Howardk,

Pick up a copy of Stuffit Deluxe. There's a program for building pseudo-installers SEA Maker. You can copy directories of files into it then create a self extracting file that will put the folders back where they should be eg/ Library/Application Support/Digidesign &/Applications/Digidesign etc.

Create a SEA file for each installation you want then just run it when you need a change.

It may not be the most elegant solution but it would work.

EDIT: Just tried this again with a v7 install and it doesn't seem to work. It did with v6 however. I'll report back
