Default In Recognition of Benoni's Contributions

I would like to nominate Benoni the "DUC Eleven Rack Support Person of 2011". That's "Two Thousand ELEVEN!".

For his continued technical support, enthusiasm, and patch contributions.

Avid appears to be perfectly happy putting a portion of front line support burden on this guy, and he steps up to the plate on occasion after occasion.

In recognition for this, I would like to request that Avid compensate him with an upgrade of his PT9 license to PT10 for his platform.

Lord knows they've saved $200 letting him handle support e-mails on this forum. And hey, it doesn't cost me a cent to make this request.

I would also like to recommend he receive a free copy of the next Expansion Pack (not that one exists, this is not a forward statement and any mention of this shall render Avid void of any commitments pertinent to the Sarbanes–Oxley Act (boring)).

All in agreement - add your +1s.

Ha, Thanks for the kind words man. I do what I do mainly because I like doing it, and if others like the rigs or info I post, even better, its a win win.

Avid does not place any burden of support on me, I just answer questions when I happen to know the answer, and Im online and on the DUC constantly.

But thanks again, I hope to provide further interesting content for the Eleven Rack in the future, and hopefully some others will find it useful as well.

The only thing wrong with your post is - if you're going to ask Avid to give away something, why not go all out and ask for a HD|Native system or full blown HDX j/k (not really)

Thanks again.

Benoni is the man! I might not post here a lot anymore (though I post LOTS on the ERU) but Benoni is sheer awesomeness nonetheless !!! When I got my bass I tried his bass presets and they flatout ROCKED ... When I want to get some brutal tones from the Eleven Rack , Benoni's guitar presets deliver

Not to mention all the little Pro Tools tips and tricks on his youtube channel ... I think Benoni deserves a lifetime of free Pro Tools upgrades that come with a case of icecold beer

It's one thing to post help on the DUC, but quite another to have made all of those very helpful videos, even if it is a labor of love.

You're a great asset around here Benoni, especially for the 11R.

Personally I think some sort of an expression of gratitude from Avid wouldn't be unreasonable.

Good idea - well deserved +1!

Go on Avid - complimentary PT10 upgrade is the least you could do! :)

But I want it to actually get implemented!

Sorry, you served that one up on a platter for me.

Thats good to hear. I wasnt sure how they would translate to other peoples bass guitars since my bass has active Pickups and an eq on board
