That routing is all correct. So the problem might be with the driver. I tried to find the driver on their website. It looks like you may have to have an account to get access to the latest downloads. If your friend that owned the keyboard previously isn't registered or can't get you the latest driver, I would try contacting their technical support.

(Did you change any settings in the MIDI Input Filter section?)

Oh no, it's a completely new keyboard bought by me. My friend was just helping to try and set it up.
And i may have changed settings in the MIDI Input filter yesterday in my attempt to make it work. Would you like a screenshot of my settings?

MIDI input filter is found Setup-MIDI- MIDI Input Filter

Maybe just make sure it looks like this:

Read it just now, but my current setting was already like that.
I can't seem to find any links to download the latest driver.
