Default original spot

Does anyone know if its possible to return an audio file to its original recorded spot in the timeline, even if its been removed from the timeline, not the regions list, and the PT file has been saved and overwritten? This would make my life much easier but if not I'll deal with it haha.

Thanks

Default Re: original spot

Try this: (I don't have PT open so I'm going from memory on this)

Change to Spot Editing Mode.
Drag the region from the regions list into the timeline.
A dialogue box appears and it should have the original timestamp information near the bottom.
Next to the timestamp is an arrow, which, by clicking will put the original timestamp info in the 'beginning' box.
Hit enter and the audio region should be in the timeline exactly where it was originally.

Like I said I don't have PT open but this is more or less the procedure.
