PT 7.4 on Windows XP, upgrade to Windows 10?

I've got protools 7.4 running on windows xp on a computer not hooked to the internet. If I upgrade to windows 10, will protools 7.4 work or do I need to upgrade that also?

ProTools LE 7.4 will not work on Windows 10. You are better off leaving it on XP, since you are not connected to the internet on that computer. Of course if you want the features of the newest version of ProTools (12.something), then that is another matter. But your old plugins will not work as newer Protools versions use AAX plugins, not RTAS.

There is no upgrade path from LE 7.4 to 12. You will have to pay fully for the upgrade. The other thing to consider is whether your current computer will be up to the task of running a current version of ProTools.
