Default What's up with all these "Ghost" ilok licenses?

OK this new ilok manager should be call ilok mangler!
We are closing one of edit studios so we and transferring a bunch of licenses out of our main ilok account.
I have all the "ghost" ilok licenses that are not available but show up in my list.
It''s a mess ilok licenses I transferred long time weeks and months ago rare still there they are not available they are just sitting my ilok and I can't clean them out!!!
I use to love ilok but this is just getting crazy!

Agreed. Several of my cohorts have been asking iLok to add a "receptacle" for dead assets.

A 'Mangler' for dead assets would be best.

I hate it too. I think they did it to enforce trust between them and us, but it looks horrible.

But it is manageable. Just don't go to the "all licencses" tab but instead select "all activations" which are the licenses that are being used. Or better yet, just click on the iLok key you're eyeing and the License Manager will show only what is in there.

I myself would love it if the unusable (surrendered, expired, whatever) assets just wouldn't show.

There's a setting in the ilok manager properties that hides unavailable licenses.

Launch the iLok License Manager app and enable "Hide Unavailable Licenses" in...
iLok License Manager > Preferences > Licenses (Mac)
File > Properties > Licenses (Win)
