Extending Command8 20 feet
I only need to put my G5 on the other side of the control room wall, less than 20 feet away and I don't want to buy a $125 USB extender and two powered hubs just to make it work - will one powered hub do the trick?
Anyone have any luck with a specific make/model of powered USB hub and the Command8?

Re: Extending Command8 20 feet
I use a Belkin 4-port powered USB v1.1 hub, but I also am not exceeding the USB cable limit.

Re: Extending Command8 20 feet
Why not try an active USB extender, I got them for $30 . . . haven't used them with the C8 though. If you use the shortest one possible it might work.
A couple topics below this Todd couldn't get it to work, but he was trying to go 150ft. |
