See this thread: http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=385732

Particularly page 2

I had these issues with some of the Greg Wells plugins crashing PT12.6. My advice is to go direct to Waves support with your system specs. They are very prompt at getting back to you.

Essentially, it's all about uninstalling Waves Central, getting rid of remaining folders and then re-installing. This fixed my problems. YMMV.

I found that the VoiceCentric plugin was crashing PT HD HDX 12.52. It was not, however crashing PT HD Thunderbolt. I replicated the HDX crash 3 times. When I say crashing, I mean the session would load to a point and then crash.

Throw away waves preferences folder in User:Library:Preferences.

I had the same problem and this fixed it.

I'm encountering the same problem on a Windows10 rig but mine happens after I load the session up with Waves plugins. It only happens when the plugins are open, sometimes after a few second sometimes after several minutes or after opening Waves plugins several times. This only started once I installed 12.7 HD a few days ago. If anybody has a solution or know off a workaround cause right now I'm at a lost.
