A way to save and name sessions after you start them, the way most programs work?
Protools makes you create a name and file system for a session right when you start it.
The problem with this is twofold. Often I won't know what to call a session until after I've started working on it, so I have to give it a placeholder name at the beginning then go back and rename it. Additionally, I often create a session and then decide to abandon it after it goes nowhere. However pro tools already made me create a file system for it. So now I have to close pro tools, go into my files, find it and delete it. It would be much easier if it was set up like most programs, Word for example. Where you create a new session, and it doesn't ask you to save and name it until you decide you want to. |

In windows/finder, change name of folder and ptx file in it.
...while pt is not running. Have worked for me. Skickat från min Moto G (5) via Tapatalk
