Default PT 11 and Midi Compatability

I have Pro Tools 11 and recently purchased an M-Audio Keystation 49, a USB powered Midi keyboard. My o/s is Windows 7. Thru many hours today I learned I needed either a folder in my Avid folder named VST - AAX or RTAS. I find neither of them. Two days ago I downloaded Melodyne Essentials and during track setup in PT, I can find that in the folder I'm supposed to find my Keystation. Last night I downloaded Native Instruments Kontakt 5 - Reaktor 5 and Guitar Rig 5 but cannot see them or utilize them during set up of my session.

A search of my computer doesn't show any of the files I've listed above. How can I get all this together. The thought of spending more money is driving me crazy!

Hi, Did you install the AAX version of those plugins? PT11 doesn't use RTAS plugins, so if that's what you installed, they won't be available in Pro Tools. Assuming you have licenses for the plugins, you should be able to download the AAX versions from Native Instruments.

Hi Chris,

Thank you for your reply. No, I didn't install the plugin from Native but I'm on a mission to find it after this reply is sent! Thank you Chris! I really appreciate it!
