Default Do any of you collaborate via email?

I'd love to have a drummer do some tracking for me, would be happy to track guitar in exchange.

Is that practical? Have you guys ever zipped up your stuff and sent it to another digi user?

thanks.

There are FTP programs for this, but you can also use free stuff like ICQ or AOL's AIM to transfer files peer-to-peer. My 001 is on a mac but the burner is on the PC, and it was cheaper to get a network router and transfer the files this way than getting software that let the two platforms talk to each other... works great!

Hi,
Another user here and I do this, but you won't have much success through email as the file attachment sizes are limited by too many ISPs.

You need to have access to a common FTP server that you and another person can use.

Take care,
Mark

I was told by a Rocket Network rep at NAMM that the 001 will be able to get on the DigiProNet soon.

digipronet looks awesome. much more practical than ftp. anyone know how much its gonna cost? seems like they could make a fortune if they kept the price down enough for us little guys to use it.....

It starts at $10 a month but that doesn't get you much. You can also buy music, sound effects and samples one at a time for little money.

I think it is a great idea too.
