Melodyne ARA trouble with protools 2023 12

By simply changing the display of the Clips list, sessions will start to auto-save without ARA data.

Steps to reproduce on a clean install of 2023.12 / macOS 13.6.3:

Create a new session, add some audio, perform some edits with ARA Melodyne.
Make sure the Clips list shows all audio regions, save, close and reopen session, all is good.

Now filter out display of ARA regions from the Clips list (deselect Show -> Audio, or Auto-Created).
Save, close and reopen session, any ARA edits are now gone.

I ran into this today by using the find command in the clips window. After using the find command all Melodyne ARA data is gone without warning after reopening the session. Any further Melodyne ARA edits also would not be saved. Reverting to a previous saved session was the only way to recover for me

Having some very annoying troubles with ARA lately.

On 2023.12.1 Pro Tools, Mac OSX 12.7.1


Noticed that on certain session when I am done editing in Melodyne and select to commit the ARA it 'renders' the full area selected but only a cluster of audio towards the beginning is rendered (and it's in the incorrect spot)

This mainly seems to happen on longer sections of song, say 2-3min. Haven't seen this happen on shorter clips yet.

I'm scratching my head and hoping someone else had seen this issue?!

Random discarded saves on melodyne ARA over here too. It’s quite random what it does save and what not , currently committing every clip after I made edits to be better safe than sorry. Double checked that auto-created is checked in the clip list and it’s active.

This happened to me today. I missed it and files with issues went to a client.

My bad for missing it, but this bug is likely going to cost me some money and a client.

Auto created regions are shown, so that doesn't seem to be the issue for me here.

Avid and Celemony really need to get their s*** together on this.
