Default PT 10 is the bomb!

too many freaking whiners and complainers here! if you work in audio post this seriously changes the game folks.
The list of new features is too big to get into but from my point of view, hands down this has to be the best thing I've ever seen from these folks. I've been working with this software since the good ole days of "DECK". My work flow and speed at which I will be able to get stuff done has just increased 2 fold. Prior to region clip based gain, in order to get material up to a decent broadcast level has always been a freaking pain, now it's literally a click and drag movement. Not to mention you can copy and paste clip gain across one or all your regions with a single click!
The audiosuite handle feature( which I thought didn't work properly, till I read the manual... see kids it pays to read!) is brilliant and about time. Network drive access is fantastic and works flawlessly
Outside of the few minor glitches I think I found I'm one happy camper right now.

Cheers

I don't think anyone disagrees with you, Cryos. It's just the price of entry into the promised land of DAW is too steep and the upgrade options awkward for many of us.

I agree completely - while this is the most expensive release yet it seems to me its the biggest value - all these people who are whining don't realize that protools has finally entered the 21st century and it comes with a price.... if all the people that complained every time apple made a move that rendered their older systems obsolete - pcie etc... then we would still be working on slow crappy computers. I for one am glad i dont have to work on slow crappy protools anymore!!!

Corp i use nuendo which i would still argue is way more powerful than protools and I pay 2 grand for the software and their version upgrades are very expensive... I don't mind giving Avid money if they are actually using it for product development, and in my estimation the last 3 years have been revolutionary for a once tired company
