2019.5 Hardware inserts cause huge delays

When I say huge delays I don't mean latency, I mean everything grinds to a halt for 3-4 seconds and I can't do anything.

This happens mostly when I do things on an insert like add a new plugin, close a plugin, remove a plugin. If I load a new plugin everything completely freezes for 3-4 seconds.

If I remove all hardware inserts everything is fine.

It also doesn't matter which track I'm on, if there's a hardware insert in the session it happens.

Tough to comment with zero info on anything. I would uninstall and go back to the last version that worked well

Update. It's a problem with delay compensation. If I turn off delay compensation then the problem stops.

With delay compensation on it only happens if there is a hardware insert on one of the tracks. If I remove all the hardware inserts then the problem is gone.

No problem here using several hardware inserts.
