Default ''Record Mode''

maybe I'm dreamin but why couldn't Avid make PT's10 with an automatic ''Record Mode''..That when you put the program into record the playback buffer size automatically changes to a preset set by the user for recording .Is this to difficult?.It seems like such a pain to have to change buffer size all the time.It should have and setup for playback and one for recording..

Why do you have to increase the buffer size for playback?

I meant: if the small buffer works for recording it should also work for playback, but forget it.

Not in PT10. Small buffers for recording, large buffers to allow the most plugins at mix.

This is the whole point of the new Avid Audio Engine in PT11 with its dual buffers.

I know. My point is: so he keeps disabling plugins also each time he wants to record...
