No meters since Eucon 3.3 update

Just updated my Eucon to 3.3 and now My S3 no longer displays meters on the faders. Updated firmware as well.

I'm running the S3 with Cubase 8.0.20, and had no "mono" meters using Eucon 3.2.2. Eucon 3.3 "sort of" fixed it, providing meters on the first 16 channels. (... hint to developers, you are not properly initializing the meter primitive control)

At best, S3 metering with EuCon is a work in progress.

Ultimately, we rely on S3 firmware, EuCon code, and the DAW implementation of EuCon protocol. By comparing S3 performance in Pro Tools and Cubase, hopefully developers can tighten the code in appropriate places.

Yeah, kind of a bummer. Was SO looking forward to VCA spill, but I use fader meters consistently. Hopefully it will get resolved soon.

Hi Guys,

There is a known issue with lack of metering with PT 11.3.1 and EuControl 3.3. This is not an issue with 11.3.2 and 12.1 and higher which is one of the reasons EuControl 3.3 is only qualified with 11.3.2 and 12.1 and higher. We're very excited for you all to try VCA spill, but understand that without meters its hard to do that.

And, not really an echo, more like an early reflection; It doesn't cost a $599 support plan (for 11.3.2) to get my $5000.00 control surface working again does it?

Also want to report that the meters don't work in Media Composer 8.3.1, but then again, they never worked before. Any chance they work in MC 8.4?
