Today’s good news story is from the County of Camden in New Jersey, which has about 75,000 residents, of which about 90% are minorities.

Overall crime rate is down 40%, the murder rate is down 70% and excessive force complaints are down 95%, since the new “Guardians, not Warriors” policing policy was introduced in 2012, when the Camden City Police Force was dissolved – and replaced with a new county-wide Police Force and a community policing model.

I still wouldn't go to Camden (remember I live in Trenton NJ). It's still a violent place and only recently was replaced as the murder capital of NJ. I think Newark owns that spot now.
