Sequestering Plugins
Not sure if there is a plug in conflict with my HD Native at the moment.
Was thinking of taking the suspects one at a time from the "application support" folder and either putting them in a folder on the desktop or to place that folder in the trash. If this would work, it would certainly be nicer than un-installing (as in trashing them) and going through the install authorize process each time. Am I kidding myself? Thanks, John |

Re: Sequestering Plugins
Not at all... There's a folder named 'unused plug ins'. Just move them from the plug ins folder into there and they wont load when pt launches.
Things have become a lot more reliable for me since I cleared the folder out. Unfortunately there are certain things that are problematic and incompatible and HD native is very susceptible to those sorts of issues. It's worth trashing pt prefs, dae prefs and digisetup, restart and repair disk permissions once you've done the clear out.

Re: Sequestering Plugins
Thank you Jack and Craig!
Trashing the Prefs., DAE and Setup cleared up the "the session is set to a different sample rate than the device" or whatever the heck that sample rate disparity message was. The frustrating thing was, my house clock, session sample rate and all the sync lock indicators all were in agreement. Luckily, I have a good thick hed of hair! Also, after the trash party, my Lynx Aurora 8 which was recently hooked in appeared in the "Setup" menus correctly, as a 192. So I thank you all once again, John |
