HDX vs. Accel DSP usage comparsions please

Looking at the rest there is 2:1, including Revibe, Bombfactory BF76 and more.
So going from HD3 to HDX will give me slightly less DSP power overall.
So considering that the HDX cards comes 10 years later than HD Accel it is a HUGE failure in terms of DSP power actually.
A 2012 Intel CPU is 25 times faster than a 2002 Intel CPU in comparison. So we should have expected at least a 10:1 ratio HDX vs HD Accel to be fair.
But again, HD and HDX is not about DSP power but workflow, still the poor power of the HDX cards makes it VERY hard for me to take the upgrade step.
