Default Plug-ins
I installed Pro Tools LE 6.1.1 on my WinXP PC about a month ago. As of last week, I'm experiencing a lot of WinXP problems (unrelated to PTLE). WinXP probably needs to be reformatted and re-installed. I have a question about the plug-ins AmpliTube, SampleTanks, T-RackS: would my digital ID change after a clean installation? If so, does that mean I lose one of my authorizations? Anyone?

I think your digital id will change for each plug, but you can get a new authorization.

I just reformatted and reinstalled Win XP 2 weeks ago and had no problems reinstalling the IK Digi bundle. Authorization codes remained the same, and they were all up and running within minutes.

When I got new harddrives I had to get a new licsence.

I'm thinkin that you will have to do the authoriztiuons over again unless u do a windows upgrade. Just use your cd and it should autoload and allow u to choose the upgrade option. It seems to refresh out the OS but allows you to keep all your files and programs. You might have to reinstall some sound card drivers or maybe another driver for something else because we all have different things in our PC's.
