Default Score Editor Chord Symbols Too Close

Hey Folks,

I've searched, and searched, and looked through the manual, and I've not found the answer, so please don't flame me for asking.

i've created chord symbols in my PT session, and chose to view them in the score editor. The only problem is that some of the chord changes happen quickly (sometimes at the 1/8th note mark), and the score editor stacks them practically on top of each other. So, they're basically unreadable. How do I "stretch" out the length of the bars in the score editor, so the chord symbols move farther apart?

Where would this forum be without questions? It's primarily what it's all about.

I don't know the answer to this particular question - I'm just chiming in to say that you should never be afraid to ask.

I guess I should have made it clear that I'm running PT8. I'm sure the PT Reference Guide would be more helpful if I was in PT9. Thanks for the post though, I appreciate it.

I changed every setting available on the Score Setup Window, and nothing changes the length of the measures (the physical space on the page that each measure occupies). Anyway, I'll continue the search. Thanks.

Hello, ummm... the Score Editor Setup Options are the same with Pro Tools 8.x as Pro Tools 9.0.x. currently. And you can indeed re-size the Bars, try Layout> Staff Size and Page Margins.
