001 MIDI ports aren't working ???

Looks like you should be ok...if you have 6.1.2

Digi 001 MIDI Port Not Supported with Digidesign Core Audio Driver.

This problem has been fixed with the Core Audio Driver v6.1.2

Read below for previous version of the Core Audio Driver issue:
When you install the Digidesign Core Audio Driver on a Digi 001 system, the DIOOSXMIDIDriver.plugin will be moved from the /Library/Audio/MIDI Drivers folder to the /Applications/Digidesign/Unused Digidesign Software.

If the DIOOSXMIDIDriver.plugin is present in the /Library/Audio/MIDI Drivers folder, and the Digidesign CoreAudio.plugin is in the /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL folder, some third-party Core Audio-client applications that also support CoreMIDI will display an error on launch and will not be able to use the Digidesign Core Audio driver. To use the Digidesign Core Audio Driver and the Digi 001 MIDI ports with these applications, you will need to use another MIDI interface.


This is a known issue stated in the Digidesign Core Audio Read Me.

If ypou read my first post I am in 6.1.2 I am trying to avoid calling california for troubleshooting but since it has

been 2 or 3 days now first thing monday moring I wish there techsupport would emial me back OR chime in

here ............................... I feel like Im being shut out
