Promax DH MAX Dual Video Card- Rate It!

Anyone having any luck with the Promax DH MAX Dual Video Card. I've seen all the problems with the Appian and was wondering if this was a better choice.

Been using the Promax for a month... no problems so far. go for it! great bang for the buck.

Not sure which promax I used anymore, but I returned it within a day because it didn't support the resolutions I needed (1600x1280) on both monitors simultaneously. The salesman said it did, but the manual confirmed that it did not. Only one monitor could be run at the high res at a time. Sorry I'm unable to give you the model number, just make sure it supports your desired resolution.

Also, the Promax displayed all grey areas of protools, including the transport, WHITE!!! Not very cool. Perhaps I had an outdated driver, but it was the one that came with it.

BTW, I was running this on a G4 450 DP, with two Sony E500 21".

No problems with J2000 so far.

Since I got the new driver 2.0, its works great. Before the driver it was very bad. I use Dual 450 api.

I'd be interested in hearing from anyone running a dual 500MHz G4 and a promax. This seems to be the model that is a disaster with the Appian card.
(needless to say, I'm one of the poor schmucks with with the jual 500)

I am using:
G4 400 9.01
PT mix plus
ATTO SCSI dual channel card
DH MAX Dual AGP card (*with dirver ver 2.0)

Previous driver had problems displaying grey colors in PT windows, but new driver works fine.

Anybody tested the card on the new G4 ? I've got a 466 running a Mix+ /+ Vinatge Farm and ATTO dual channel. Before investing in an extension chassis ……… maybe another way around?
