Default Can anyone help me out ?

Hi,

I still have this anoying problem with two SCSI drives.
Here's my setup:
G4.867- Digidesign SCSI 64 kit ( also known as ATTO EPC DC )
channel 1> 3x IBM 18 Gb single ended and 3x Seagate Cheetah 18Gb SE/LVD running without problems
channel 0> 2x Seagate Cheetah 36 Gb. SE/LVD always in trouble
ATTO card is flashed to version 1.66 and properly set with Atto configuration tool.
Whenever I use the 36Gb Cheetahs I always get OSX prompting disks are too slow or too fragmented, however they are freshly formatted and initialized correctly with OSX ( 10.2.6)disk utility.
Also DAE error 36 when duplicating or consolidating files.
Cablelengths are not exceeded and termination is proper. All cables are checked and approved. HBA is seated properly in the MAC and cannot think of anything else anymore.
Many time the volume bitmap is damaged and needs a minor repair and then the horror really starts.
- Do I need a bigger bandwidth ( UL3D-card)?
- Do I need Express stripe for OSX?
- or...Should I trash the drives?
So it ain't the cables, or the HBA or the terminators because the 18 Gig drives are always working reliable when set in the same conditions as the 36Gig drives. ( ie changing cables, terminator and channel)
Please help this poor guy out
