Please I'm unable to install the free trial version of Pro tools 11.

After clicking on setup.exe it displays the error message in the attachment

I have not seen that error message before. Do you have an ilok Gen2 key connected so you can run PT?

From what I've been able to find menubox is as described here:
http://www.menubox.com/applications/html/
and has something to do with the installer. A window pops up and has a number of radio buttons on it allowing for certain elections. I've never done a Windows install of PT so can't say for sure what's going on. What version of Windows is this being done on?

That is not part of the install on Windows. Looks like a third party application.

But how would this be happening during a PT install? The only thing I can think of is doesn't PT ask to install the iLok client software if you don't already have it installed? Unless it's some kind of Trojan?

Do you have any AV running? I know McAfee specifically have a setting to block executables from running from temp folders.

Don't know why that menu pops up for the OP, but I've been installing Pro Tools on Windows since v5 and have never seen anything like it. Then again I've never installed a trial version. And I didn't know there was still a trial version of 11. Could this be a Torrent?
