Smile Simple Question, please someone give me a simple answer!

Hello All,

this might be a dumb question but hey!

With our current HD PT set up we have 24 (analogue) in and 40 (analogue) out.

If i went to the native system would i still be able to run all these tracks?

thanks guys

Yes, if you're talking about the HD Native card system. It will handle 64 in and 64 out. It has 2 digilink ports and you can daisy chain Avid interfaces off each one.

Now if you're talking about "regular" Protools 9 (non HD), then it's a max of 32 in, 32 out.
