Default default midi instrument

I was wondering if there is a way to setup the default midi instrument to ALL channels.

I have a digi 002R and a XP-50 connected to it. It's currently setup so that I can only assign one channel at a time on the default midi instrument. I would like to set it to all channels to midi thru. Can this be done? and how?
My options are:

XP-50 channel 1
XP-50 channel 2
XP-50 channel 3
XP-50 channel 4
XP-50 channel 5
XP-50 channel 6
XP-50 channel 7
XP-50 channel 8
XP-50 channel 9
XP-50 channel 10
XP-50 channel 11
XP-50 channel 12
XP-50 channel 13
XP-50 channel 14
XP-50 channel 15
XP-50 channel 16

I would like a XP-50 channel ALL

How can I do it?

Can you explain further what you are trying to accomplish? So far you're not making any sense, but maybe this will help...

A MIDI track in PTLE can only be assigned to output to a single MIDI channel - this is the way that MIDI works, otherwise you would be playing 16 channels with a MIDI command, which would result in a cacophanic mess.

Ok This is what I am trying to do. I would like to use my MPC 2000 and as a sequencer for my Yamaha Motif Rack and my XP-50. The way I have it connected is as follow:

(DIGI002R)OUT ----------------------------------->IN(XP-50)
(DIGI002R)OUT---------------> IN(SYNC ONLY)(MPC 1000)
(DIGI002R)IN<---------------- OUT(MPC1000)
(XP-50)THRU------------->IN(MOTIF R)
(MPC 1000)IN<---------------- OUT(XP-50)

I want to be able to use the Multi from the XP-50 and the MOTIF. So when I setup the default Instrument for XP-50 Channel 1 I can only hear channel 1. I need to have an option of XP-50 - ALL in order to hear all 16 midi channels. Also I would like to use the sequencer in PROTOOLS whenever I need to. Maybe I am doing it wrong can someone help me?
