Re: 7.3 and ProControl
Hi Rob
I just updated The Mix Window bug is fixed !!!!! The grid button bug....... Not fixed !!!!!! The Edit Group button is fixed, well almost fixed. You can edit the groups, yes. But you cant only remove all but 2 tracks of a group, this have been a relevant behaviour before but now, at least me, have groups with only track in almost everymix due to the VCA´s. I guess it´s something noone really thought about. But my main concern, the masterfader button bug is not fixed......... Why???? Cheers Mikael Axelius Kingsway Studio |

Re: 7.3 and ProControl
The Masterfader bug.
When your press the Master Faders button you get all your masterfaders on the Pc faders. Press it again and you get the VCA´s. Great!! Prsss it once more and you get the channels back on the faders. Before you got back in the same scroll position as when you press the button to wiev the masterfaders/VCA´s but now you always end up with the topmost fader to the left. Example: If you bank so you have all guitartracks in view on the PC balancing guitarlevels. You press masterfader button twicw to view the VCA´s to balance the big picture. You want to get back to finetune the guitars a bit more so you press the button again. Viola, you have the drums (or whatever is at the top of the session) on the faders and you have to bank your way through to the guitars again. If your use to work this way (as I am) it get pretty frustrating. I have reported this to digi but no reply of comment so maybe it´s not a that important bug. Cheers Mikael Axelius Kingsway Studio |

Re: 7.3 and ProControl
Protools 7.3.1 has the same bug. The numeric does have a strange bug also with "select between locators". When you use your Apple keyboard select memory 1 , press shift, select memory 2 and you made your selection between those locators. For a longer time this funtion was not working anymore on Procontrol (in the early day's it was). Now it's back again but in a "different" way. Select memory 1, than select memory 2 without pressing shift and before you press the last period (.) you select shift. Not a big isseu but not very handy. |

Re: 7.3 and ProControl
Hi,
Can one of you remind me how to get pro control faders going again. It still says offline. In peripherals I don't see all of the units since upgrading to 7.3.1

Re: 7.3 and ProControl
just rescan your ethernet (preference page) and all hooked up controllers should be there to be selected in the right order.

Re: 7.3 and ProControl
Has anyone noticed that since 7.2 the Scrub on the PC is very grainy, low rez, and corse sounding?
Was this just on PC and/or has it been fixed in 7.3? |

Re: 7.3 and ProControl
For me the sound didn't change, but the shuttle is more sensetive to speed changements, what gives some strange artifacts when you use the shuttle for a longer piece of music when you want to spot a specific place. You can't hardly keep the audio in just one tempo by turning the shuttle. But an smaller pieces it's more precise. In the previous version when you where working in a very deep zoom you lost your cursos very easy because a small turn on the shuttle was giving the same result voor audio zoomed out, as for audio zoomed in. When you are zoomed in now, the movement is far more small, because you are zoomed in. Zoom out and make one clock turn whit the shuttlewheel and do the same but then zoomed in, to feel the difference. |
