A little experiment
Ok me and my commrade are trying something. We want to sync Pro Tools on my computer with DP on his computer using MTC. PT is Master and DP is slave. What Frame # do I use? Do I use the same number on both programs or just one. Is midi clock better. Suggestions? Were going to do this asap.

Re: A little experiment
MTC does not have sub frame info in the Timecode
Just us PT Sync I/O to stripe a track with TC and then slave the PT to the DP TC track

Re: A little experiment
Without sync I/O it is possible, send MTC from PT (framerate does not matter, as long as it is the same on both) via IAC. You can set this up it the session setup window, under the windows menu. How it is setup in DP I have no idea.
