DAE error -199 on start up

I recently started getting the message "DAE error -199 encountered" instantly after attempting startup with LE on my G4 400. I've had absolutely no problems now with this system in my smaller studio for over a year and a half now. I'm going to try to trash all of the preferences and restart. Does anyone else have any ideas as to what this message means and of how to correct it?
